Easy No-Guilt Bread...

As promised here is my recipe for homemade bread that contains no sugar and is easy to make.  If you look at the contents label on most breads - even whole wheat ones you will find sugar.  If you are going to buy bread, or any carb for that matter, look for a high fiber content (like over 5-7 grams) and try to find the lowest sugar content (like under 3 grams).
If you have some time and love the smell of homemade bread, here is the best option I have found and you can eat slice after slice with no worries.  This recipe makes 2 loaves.  You can double this if you like for 4 loaves if you have a big enough mixer.

Whole Wheat Bread - sugar free

2 1/2 cups warm water
1/3 cup honey and molasses (just fill half with honey and half with molasses)
1 vitamin C tablets - crushed
1 TBS dry yeast
3/4 TBS salt
1/3 cup oil
7 cups whole wheat flour

Baking Instructions:
*Mix water, honey, molasses, vit C, and yeast together.  Let it sit until foamy.  Then add the salt, oil, and 3 1/2 cups of whole wheat flour.  Mix well, it will be sticky.
*Add another 3 1/2 cups of flour and mix until you have a medium dough.
*Place dough in an oiled bowl, turn over to coat.  Then cover with saran wrap or a cloth.
*Place bowl in a warm oven. Let it rise for 30 minutes.  (To warm your oven, simply turn it on at 350 for a minute or two and then turn it off).
*Take the bowl out, turn dough out onto a floured surface.  Knead and shape into 2 loaves.
*Place the loaves in prepared loaf pans.  (spray or oil your pans)
*Put the loaf pans in the oven and let the dough rise for 30 minutes.
*Then simply turn your oven on to 350 degrees and set the timer for 30 minutes.

After they are baked, lightly butter the tops and let them cool.  Hint: don't put the bread in a bag until it is completely cooled.    Enjoy!!!
*I am not a good photographer so this is not a picture of the actual bread.*
